CSO Forum

The CSO Forum provides civil society organisations (CSOs) with a virtual platform for debate.

Each month we will invite one of the sector’s top leaders, key stakeholders or outstanding experts to provide a statement on one of the burning issues CSOs are confronted with. The statement can be an invitation to joint reflection, the starting point for an exchange of differing views or the basis for collectively addressing one of our common challenges.

It may also help to draw more attention to the experiences and know-how of peer organisations and serve as a starting point for cooperation and mutual support. Complementing the face-to-face meetings of the sector’s leaders that the Berlin Civil Society Center regularly organises, the Internet-based CSO Forum provides a platform for continuing the debate in between the meetings. At the same time the CSO Forum widens the debate, allowing those who do not participate in the face-to-face meetings to express their views.
