The Center offers coordination and support services for joint projects of major CSOs.

The Center has set up a small project team to coordinate the preparations for the global CSO conference, Civil Society Conference: Advancing the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda - Reconfirming Rights – Recognising Limits – Redefining Goals, scheduled to take place in Bonn from 20 to 22 March 2013. The team is working in close collaboration with a Steering Committee composed of representatives from many of the major civil society networks. The event will bring together approximately 250 participants from CSOs and their key stakeholders. Further information about the conference can be found here

On 1 July 2010 the Berlin Civil Society Center took over the Secretariat role of the INGO Accountability Charter, in which the largest international CSOs have outlined their shared principles and commitments and set down standards for accountability and transparency. In the run-up to the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan at the end of 2011, the Berlin Civil Society Center supported the ICSO Advisory Group of the Open Forum for CSO Development Effectiveness in both the production of a joint position paper and the organisation of a side event. The Advisory Group included representatives from CARE, CIVICUS, Oxfam International, Plan International, World Vision International and Transparency International.
